Online Return & Exchange Policy

We’re stoked you shopped with Akwa Surf and we hope you love your purchase.

However, in the unlikely event you are not 100% satisfied with your online order, at Akwa Surf we accept exchanges and store credit up to 14 days from date of delivery for full price items. For final sale items we do not offer refunds or exchanges unless the item is faulty. 


  • Items must be returned in original packaging with all tags attached.
  • Items have not been worn or damaged and are in the exact condition in which they were sent out.
  • Items must be received back to Akwa Surf within 14 days from receiving the item.  We recommend using express post services with tracking when returning goods.


Postage for returns and exchanges is not covered by Akwa Surf, unless we are at fault; for example the product is faulty, damaged or you have received the wrong item. No refunds or exchanges are offered on sale items. If re-shipping is required due to your return parcel being 'returned to sender', any additional freight charges will be at the expense of the customer.


Faulty Items

If you have received a damaged or defective item from us, please contact us immediately by email at with a brief description of the item’s problem, your receipt number and a photo of the defect.

If an item is considered damaged or faulty, we will contact the supplier and it will be at their discretion to approve this return. They will then notify us whether the item will be repaired or replaced. Due to limited stock availability we may not be able to replace a faulty item that cannot be repaired, in this case a full refund will be made.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for an faulty returns to be processed.
